In 1995 we celebrated the centennial of the first radio transmission.
Actually, in 1895 Guglielmo Marconi concluded his experiment
in Villa Griffone,
where he transmitted a radio signal to a collaborator on the other side of the
Celestini hill and as a confirmation he heard the shot of the gun.
Later, he made several other experiments, in particular, one of the most famous,
was when he switched-on the Sidney lighting system in Australia from Italy.
Since then, the radio developed very fast. For several peoples it became a work beside a personal interest, but for many others it remained a simple and interesting hobby...
