The origins of the radioamateur activity

In 1995 we celebrated the centennial of the first radio transmission.
Actually, in 1895 Guglielmo Marconi concluded his experiment in Villa Griffone, where he transmitted a radio signal to a collaborator on the other side of the Celestini hill and as a confirmation he heard the shot of the gun.
Later, he made several other experiments, in particular, one of the most famous, was when he switched-on the Sidney lighting system in Australia from Italy.

Since then, the radio developed very fast. For several peoples it became a work beside a personal interest, but for many others it remained a simple and interesting hobby...
